Discovering The Soul of Africa
Peter was born in Tanzania and grew up surrounded by the farmlands near Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Here he developed a deep understanding and strong interest in the world of nature.
Working as a field guide and ranger since 2001, Peter has accumulated immense knowledge about various local parks as well as their fauna and flora. He is easy-going and enjoys the wilderness. His passion for nature keeps growing every day and he rubs off this passion to others very well. He loves spending free time with family and works with the locals on improving farming techniques.
Keith and Terri have been traveling throughout the world for over 10 years. After reaching Tanzania, they fell in love with the people and the culture instantaneously. They have a passion for family, travel, and animals, and they have turned that love into a family business. They have been business owners for over 13 years where they aim for customer satisfaction. Trust them to make your time in Tanzania not just a vacation, but an experience!
Imagine the endless savannas with millions of herbivores, towering boulders sprawling with tawny cats, and a giant volcanic mountain standing more than nineteen thousand feet from the ground. Places completely unaware of civilization, where wild animals still reign supreme. The place that cradled us for over four million years. It may surprise some people that a place like this still exists, but it does. It is called Tanzania. It is where I am from. I was born and raised in northern Tanzania. My father was a veterinary officer, and my mother was a nurse. I grew up surrounded by farmlands and animals. Growing up here, I developed a deep understanding and a strong interest in nature. After my studies, I become a guide.
After more than twenty years of guiding in the Tanzania's wildness, I saw many travelers missing the true African bush experience and the feel of the places they are visiting. Many safari tour companies shuffle their guests only through the most heavily trafficked areas on the normal "safari circuit" and do the same thing every day. I felt compelled to share the original safari experience with others.
This calling and passion was the start of Kingse Guides. Kingse Guides is a team of talented guides, all having many years of experience running safaris, and are highly trained to be wildlife experts. Anyone can start a safari company and anyone can be a guide, but not all are gifted with pure passion, skills, genuine love for nature and people, as well as hard work. Safari is what we were born to do. We give 100% on every safari, ensuring that each guest receives the finest safari experience. We take our guests into the heart of nature, the isolated wilderness, where many do not venture. On our safaris, you are not confined to doing the same thing every day. Instead, we can be flexible, taking into account the areas, the wildlife movements and adjusting our activities to suit your preferences. I have been doing safari for decades, and this makes us experts in local wildlife and regions. It allows us to create a special and unique experience for our guests as opposed to other "generalist" companies offering standard tours. We know what works and what combinations of areas and accommodations will give you the best safari at the best price.
Giving you a truly original safari experience is our pride and our motivation is to help make our world a better place. We believe that if tourism is practiced properly, it will be a driving force in conservation. It will empower people at the primary schools and secondary schools that are near the wilderness areas. We also collect second-hand clothes from people and distribute them to people who are in need. We are also helping farmers to improve their farming techniques. When you come on safaris with us, you are already supporting these efforts. We cant wait to show you Tanzania. KARIBU SANA!
We specialize in exploring the heart and soul of Africa, The villages, the people and the culture as well as the exotic wildlife.
