• DAY 1: After landing, your guide will pick you up from the airport and transport you to your accommodations in Arusha to rest up for your adventure.
• DAY 2: After breakfast, you will head south to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its massive herds of elephants and buffalos. There are also many game-like zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. The landscape is dotted with huge baobab trees.
• DAY 3: Today, you will be heading to the western plains of Ngorongoro after an early breakfast. On the way, you will see Maasai cattle herders and small farming towns where you can stop to experience the local life. You will then drive to the highlands of Ngorongoro. You will arrive at the rim of the crater, stopping to admire the view. Then, you will descend the crater to the western plains, which is cheetah territory and home to many big games.
• DAY 4: This day will be for game viewing around the acacia woodlands and marsh area where big prides of lions defend it as their territory.
• DAY 5: Today will be an early start, descending into the crater for game viewing inside the crater. Inside the crater looks like a big animal amphitheater. There are short and long grass plains with a stream of water running from the north crossing the open plain to Lake Magadi, which is in the center of the crater. There is also a small forest. More than 25,000 big mammals call this home. You will enjoy your lunch near the springs overlooking hippos. After lunch, you will head to Lake Manyara.
• DAY 6: After breakfast, you will drive to this scenic little park famous for tree-climbing lions. Three species of primates can be seen here. The largest troop of baboons in Africa was recorded here. 400 species of birds can also be seen here. After game viewing, you will drive to the airport for your flight home or head to Zanzibar for a relaxing few days on the beach.
