Tanzania is situated on the east coast of Africa and is home to more than 126 tribes, each with its own language, mode of life, cuisine, and drink types. You can see an incredible mosaic of different peoples and cultures from the northern plains of nomadic cattle tribes to the southern highlands of settled agrarian communities, and from the areas of matrilineal societies in the east to the communal hunter-gathers in the interior.
